Matt Perisho, VP Marketing, brings a lifetime of baseball experience as both a player and coach. Matt is a Former MLB player and Baseball Coach that currently trains his youth players with Throw Pro devices and drills, and provides valuable product development observations and guidance to the youth in his community.
As a coach and former player, Matt brings his years of experience on the field to the continued development of Throw Pro. Matt is best known for pitching for MLB’s Florida Marlins and the Texas Rangers. He has set records and has been honored with many awards throughout his career, Matt played eighteen seasons of Professional Baseball and in 6 countries: US, Mexico, Taiwan, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
Among Matt’s accomplishments:
- Gatorade’s Arizona Player of the Year 1993
- 74th overall pick in the 1993 draft, and 3rd pick in the third round
- Season record setter for holds in 2009 while playing for the Brother Elephants
- Pitched for such teams as the Anaheim Angels, the Texas Rangers, the Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Boston Red Sox, Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo and Brother Elephants
- 1999 Pacific League AAA All-star
- Numerous Pitcher of the Month and Pitcher of the Week Honors
- Pitched in over 175 games - National & American League
- Played in over 275 games – AAA Minor League
